Now, before launching into this post, a few things must be said. The 2010 Hyundai Equus has nothing to do with Harry Potter’s … wand. I have noticed some rabid Potter fans salivating for this car because they somehow believe that some of its accents will feature … well, never mind.

Point is, this is Korea’s flagship model, and it is garnering a lot of attention — mainly because it will be coming into the United States. However, we do not know what the car will actually be called stateside — it remains a mystery.

We do know that the car will share a real wheel drive platform with both the Genesis Coupe and the Genesis Sedan.

More is expected to be known after the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, though we can expect the car to launch in the United States late in 2010.
