The Platinum Escalade offers a ton of extras atop its standard counterpart. The interior boasts of high end Tehama aniline leather, entertainment system with DVD for rear-seat passengers, wood inlays, aluminium trimming for the instrument panel, and it rolls on 22 inch chrome rims. The spotlight is also on the cooled and heated cup holders for the Platinum version.

The Escalade also come standard with features like keyless entry, xenon headlamps with forward lighting technology, hard drive-base nav system, and leather seats that are electrically adjustable.

The Platinum Edition of the Cadillac Escalade has a tag price of £69,724 but right now you can only get it at the Bauer Millet dealership in Manchester. This will surely attract businessmen, rock stars, soccer players and similar crowd who want to be different from those rolling on a BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne, and Ranger Rover.

Cadillac is also pushing for the hybrid version of the Escalade that has a V8 6.0L petrol powerplant working in combo with an electric motor to deliver a 332 bhp output.

Okay guys – it has to be said that I have not seen a Lincoln yet that I like.  Lincoln is just a brand that I do not really think about but when I saw that Lincoln Concept C debuted at the Detroit Auto Show, I fell in love.  This is a car that looks so futuristic and different; it truly is one of the most unique cars on the market.

If you are looking to stand out, the Lincoln Concept C is it.  While right now, it is just a concept, the concept, from the negotiations that are taking place right now seems to be pulling through rather quickly.  Mass markets hopefully will be able to get the Lincoln Concept C in 2012 – hopefully!

In the past, General Motors talked about just releasing the Chevrolet Spark to India and calling it a day but after a lot of debate and a lot of surveying, they have finally come up with the answer of releasing the Chevrolet Spark to the states.

To me – this is a personal win, as I have been waiting for this car to be released forever!

We all know that Audi is an automaker that we can not only trust but one that we have grown to love … now, Audi is actually partnering with Quattro and I have to say that this is a fantastic combination.  The brand new Audi Metroproject Quattro Concept is actually a concept car that is in the works right now and it is definitely a car that I am looking forward to.

The Audi Metroproject Quattro Concept will reportedly only be available with about one gearbox, but it is a seven speed S-Tronic automatic transmission.  This car is going to be by far one of the best in the world … and I speak from experience!

So if you are in the market for an Audi minicar … this concept car is certainly going to turn your wheels!

Yesterday – oh folks, yesterday was a very good day for Mazda because they finally, finally revealed that they are going to be bringing the 2011 Mazda2 to North America.  It was announced yesterday and I have to say that this is a huge, huge deal!  I have been waiting for the 2011 Mazda2 to come on over to the states and now it is almost here!

At the West Coast show, the 2011 Mazda2 was certainly the highlight of the day for a lot of people but most importantly, this particular car is now going to be for sale!  Mazda has always been a car brand that I have loved … you know what you are getting when you buy a Mazda, but I have been waiting for them to come out with a hatchback car.

Now they have answered my prayers and the 2011 Mazda2 is on it’s way soon enough!

When the economy fell – car companies were trying to recover themselves a little bit and they have been truly trying to work with their customers.  That is why companies like Hyundai have actually come up with the Hyundai Assurance Program.  This is a program that is awesome if you fear for your job.  It basically lets you return your car if you suffer a loss of employment.

What you might not know about this particular program is that it is actually going to be sticking around until the end of 2009 however its future is something that might be in jeopardy.  It looks like while everyone else is down in the market for this year – Hyundai’s is actually up and I think that it has a lot to do with this particular program.

I love the fact that you can return the car if you do, truly lose your job.  After all, that is the worst thing in the world to have to deal with your credit becoming smashed because you can not pay for a car any longer.

Honda is a car company that I have been watching for years.  I have seen Honda cars do some incredible things and I have seen them never – ever crap out on their driver, however when I saw that Honda is dipping their talents into motorcycles, I was all over that!  Honda actually officially took the wraps off of some brand new motorcycles this week and I have to say that I am very excited!

This particular motorcycle, the Honda CB1100 is one that I have been waiting for, for quite some time now.  The Honda CB1100 is actually just returning the classic Universal Japanese motorcycle more commonly known as the UJM.

The Honda CB1100 is also one of those motorcycles that people are going to want to ride – a lot.  I can not wait until this particular bike comes out!

This is something that has been coming for a while and while no buyout price has been announced as of right this moment, the statuses of the engine designs were also not mentioned.

These two manufactures are two of the hugest and Chrysler bought them out – pretty impressive. Stay tuned for more auto news!

This car is actually named the second most influential vehicle in the 20th century.  The reasoning behind that?  Because it is so damn small!  No one in the world ever thought that a car this small would be able to run and certainly be as truly incredible as it is … however, 50 years later, the car is still around and coming out with newer and better models!

Mini, you are 50 years older and you still look awesome and better than ever … I can promise you that!

One of the first reasons that a manual is better is because it is cheaper!  Oh yes, by about $700.00, which is a nice chunk of change when you really think about it right?  You can get an automatic, however it is going to cost you!  Another reason is because it puts you in control of your car and the speed that you want to go – which is nice for a change right?

Finally, the best reason?  Because stick shifts rock!  Duh!  Ask any racer in the world and they will tell you that the stick shift is going to give you the speed you want with the control you expect.  All around – it’s better!
